The Hills Are Alive With The Sound Of Music

Back by popular demand, West End legend Bill Kenwright's ever-popular UK production of The Sound Of Music returns to the regional touring circuit in early 2020! Based on the effervescent Julie Andrews-led silver screen classic, the musical smash immortalises the true story of the singing Von Trapp family with memorable show tunes like Edelweiss, My Favorite Things and the titular theme song, as well as sweeping sets and dazzling song and dance numbers!

Set in World War II era Austria, The Sound Of Music follows the fascinating story of Maria, a spirited young woman who is failing miserably at becoming a nun in a mountain monastery. When she is placed with Navy captain Georg Von Trapp and his seven mischievous children as a governess, she fills their lives with kindness, music and overwhelming joy.
