Broadway Has Always Been Home

Long before diamonds were a girl's best friend, Aaron Tveit was already making a name for himself on Broadway.

You've Probably Seen Him Elsewhere

Even if you haven't caught him on stage, chances are you've seen him somewhere. He played revolutionary leader Enjolras in the Oscar-winning film version of Les Miserables, standing alongside Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway and Eddie Redmayne.

On television, he's popped up everywhere - from the original Gossip Girl and Graceland to Braindead, American Horror Stories and Apple TV+'s delightfully bonkers musical comedy Schmigadoon!.

Fun Facts About Aaron Tveit

His hair has its own fan following

Tveit has become unintentionally famous for his incredible hair, with fans regularly celebrating his signature look online. Oh, and that famous Les Misrables hair wasn't actually his - he's confirmed it was a wig.

He reads backstage instead of scrolling on his phone

During breaks between scenes, Tveit avoids getting lost on social media and chooses to read instead, saying it helps him stay focused and protect his mental wellbeing.

He filmed Gossip Girl while starring in Next to Normal

Tveit was balancing two major roles at once, performing on Broadway while also shooting one of television's biggest shows in New York.

Playing Fiyero in Wicked was a dream for a very specific reason

Tveit loved getting to play the character's more arrogant side, joking that the more of an "asshole" he could be at the beginning, the better the payoff later in the story.

He learned from some of television's best

While appearing on The Good Wife, Tveit was amazed watching stars Julianna Margulies and Christine Baranski prepare for their roles, describing their professionalism and attention to detail as a masterclass.

His first film set involved hospital wheelchair races

During his first movie role in Ghost Town, Tveit watched Ricky Gervais, Kristen Wiig and the crew turn downtime into comedy, racing hospital wheelchairs between takes.
