Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is headed on tour!
Every day's a chance, every day's a choice
And everybody's talking about the return of this beloved hit musical! Jamie is set to strut its way around the UK in 2027 with a 10th anniversary tour, complete with a brand-new song written especially for the occasion by original creators Dan Gillespie Sells and Tom MacRae.
The tour for Everybody's Talking About Jamie kicks off at Leeds Grand Theatre on 15 January 2027, exactly ten years after the show first burst onto the scene at Sheffield's Crucible Theatre.
The production will be directed by Matt Ryan, building on the original direction by Jonathan Butterell, who co-created the show alongside Gillespie Sells and MacRae.

What's The Story?
Everybody's Talking About Jamie follows 16-year-old Jamie New, who grows up on a Sheffield council estate dreaming of becoming a drag queen. With the fierce support of his mum and best friends, Jamie takes on bullies, challenges expectations, and learns to live loudly, proudly and unapologetically.
The musical was inspired by the documentary Jamie: Drag Queen at 16 and quickly became a phenomenon thanks to its big heart, sharp humour and powerful message of self-acceptance. The original production starred John McCrea, with Layton Williams and Ivano Turco later stepping into the role.
Since its 2017 debut, Everybody's Talking About Jamie has picked up eight major theatre awards, including Best New Musical at the UK Theatre Awards, earned five Olivier nominations, toured internationally, hit cinema screens worldwide, and even became a feature film on Amazon Prime.
